About Low Reactive

This site exists because the search results for these conditions are composed almost entirely of people with something to sell you.

The problem this is trying to solve

Search any of the questions this site covers and you will find clinics selling consultations and brands selling their own supplement lines. Both write with total confidence. Neither can afford to tell you that the diagnostics are contested, that the guideline rates most of its own recommendations as resting on very low quality evidence, or that specialists are currently arguing about whether the main test should be used at all.

We can say those things, because we are not selling a consult.

Who writes this

B. Gray Randolph. Writer and researcher. Not a clinician, and this site says so.

That last part is not a disclaimer, it is a positioning statement. In this niche, everyone implying clinical authority is also monetising clinical authority. We would rather tell you plainly what we are: people who read the sources carefully, publish the working, and say when something is unknown. Why there is no clinical reviewer listed on this site.

What we bring that a search result does not

A database of 695,050 posts and 7,205,554 comments from 18 patient communities spanning 2011 to 2026. We use it to decide what to write about, so the topics come from what patients actually discuss rather than from a keyword tool. Every number we take from it is published with the exact query behind it, so you can check our work or disagree with our method.
