Privacy policy
Last updated 5 August 2026
The short version
This is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no advertising trackers, has no Meta Pixel, no Google Ads tag, and no analytics that identify you. There is no login, no account, and no form. We do not sell or share personal data, because we do not collect any.
What is collected
- Nothing by us, directly. There is no form on this site and no account system.
- Standard server logs, by our host. Serving a web page necessarily involves your IP address reaching a server. Cloudflare processes that to deliver the page and to stop abuse. We do not build profiles from it and we do not have a way to link it to you.
- No cookies are set by this site. If your browser tells you otherwise, we want to hear about it.
What we deliberately do not do
- No advertising or marketing pixels of any kind.
- No cross-site tracking, no data brokers, no audience sales.
- No transmitting anything about what you read here to an advertising platform. Sharing health-related browsing with ad tech is treated as a reportable breach under the FTC Health Breach Notification Rule, and it is also just a thing we do not want to do.
Health data specifically
Which pages you read on a site like this can imply things about your health. We treat that as sensitive even though we cannot see it. Our consumer health data privacy policy covers this separately, as Washington state law requires.
Third parties
Links leave this site. Once you follow one, that site’s policy applies and ours does not. We currently have no commercial links at all; see disclosures.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date above changes and the change is described here rather than applied silently.
